The Guard picks up the bucket. The leak from the roof begins again. The Guard places the bucket under the leak and looks out at the audience.

Blackout.

Two

In darkness. The sound of water dripping intensifies then stops.

Lights up on Kit. She stands naked under a shower that could be made of a bucket or buckets. She is lathering herself up with a bar of Ivory soap. She smiles at us—

Kit: Hi.

Beat.

I’m glad you’re here. Let’s have some fun!

She looks at the soap and smiles.
